A summer working at the Wagon Box is an opportunity to be a part of a unique project in a beautiful location. Wake up to the crisp mountain air, plunge in the creek if you like, then join the wholesome crew at the 100-year-old restaurant. With old wood paneling and instruments hanging on the walls, a fireplace, an attached library, there’s no other place like it. Here locals and travelers swap stories, evenings bring live music, dancing, and long tables filled with good food and great conversation.Story, WY is home to all sorts of colorful characters including outfitters, writers, ranchers, musicians, and our lodging and events draw interesting folks from around the country. No two days are the same. Off the clock, you’ll have access to streams with great fly fishing, horseback riding, rock climbing, and miles of open trails. Sheridan is 25 min away and with a population of 20K has all the amenities and more.
What You'll Do:
- Interact with guests
- Wait/serve tables
- Some kitchen prep work
- Barista/Bartender positions
- Contribute to Game Night, Music, Literary events as applicable
