Trail's End
Cabin
Our rustic Trail's End Cabin invites you to unwind in the embrace of its 2 cozy queen-sized beds, bask in the warmth of the inviting fireplace, and enjoy the convenience of a fully-equipped kitchenette and a well-appointed bathroom complete with a full shower. This cabin is situated perfectly at the end of the trail, with a porch swing, and steps away from a peaceful pond, where you can relax and witness the fish swimming along.

In the foothills of the Bighorns, the recently updated, rustic Tuckaway Cabin is situated among the shade of the trees. From your porch, you can view a peaceful pond. You’re a walkable distance from trails, fishing, streams, horseback riding, and the Wagon Box Restaurant featuring a coffee bar, and pub offering hand-crafted cocktails and local brews, live music, and great American cooking. Downtown Story is a short drive or long walk, and Sheriden is only 25 minutes with shopping, restaurants, and bars.

Downtown Story is a short drive or long walk, and Sheriden is only 25 minutes with shopping, restaurants and bars.
Creekside
Chalet
Nestled in the aspens by a rushing creek, this cabin is perfect for a peaceful retreat. It’s not fancy, but it’s cozy, with a stone fireplace, log beds, two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a little deck. There is also a fire pit and picnic table in the yard between the chalet and the stream. A short walk over a little bridge takes you to the wonderful Wagon Box restaurant, which is a family bistro with an espresso bar, tavern, and large deck for outside seating with an adjacent sandbox and Tonka toys. Inside there is also a Library where you can read from our wide selection, work from your laptop, play chess, etc. Get your food to go and have a picnic by the creek.
Roosevelt Suite

This spacious mountain getaway is the pinnacle of rustic luxury. The log walls, the high vaulted ceiling with exposed timbers, and the huge stone hearth all remind you that you are in the mountain west, the foothills of the Big Horns, where legendary men explored and avid sportsmen have hunted. Added to that is the elegance of a spiral staircase and a clawfoot tub, the comfort of a king-sized bed, the convenience of a full kitchen, a high-quality home theater, and outside a private fire pit by the creek. What else do you want? Order from the restaurant and have delicious meals delivered to your door. The Roosevelt Lodge Suite is perfect for a couple looking for a spacious and comfortable get-away in the mountains, but also good for a family, or a few close friends. We have complimentary, reliable, high-speed WiFi that allows you to do video calls and movie streaming. Beside the king-sized master bed is a queen-sized couch bed. There is a twin bed available to move in if necessary. The master bedroom is a large loft up a flight of stairs. Story is a hidden gem nestled in the Bighorns an easy 25 min drive from Sheridan or Buffalo.

This camper has everything you need for an extended stay: bathroom with shower, kitchen closet storage space, and the perfect little table to write your memoirs, sip coffee, read, or simply enjoy the sound of the nearby stream, the breeze making the aspen leaves flutter, being in the mountains. With a picnic table and the stream a short walk away, the restaurant too, where you can enjoy a unique menu, a full espresso bar, and a library curated for the culturally curious.
